I don't see any total market stock index funds, so I'm guessing I will have to get large,med,and small and give weights accordingly to their overall market share? Advice would be appreciated! The ticker symbols you list e. DDLEI are incorrect, could you please double check that and correct your original post? Or can you tell us what index is tracked by each index fund?

How much total dollars do you expect to contribute yourself toward investing annually? How much additional in dollars will the full employer match be each year? The amount will, in general, rise as my income rises, and may be subject to change as my wife and I see how livable our current budget is. It looks like your k offers a nice employer match. I thin you are wise to prefer a three-fund type portfolio. Would you you please list the expense ratios for each of those k funds, just use the "edit button" to add that to your original post. In picking funds to use its critical to know both: Those index funds can give you broad diversification, with very low expense ratios. In your k the funds to consider using are these: If so, how much?

That will help you determine where its best to invest next, after contributing enough to get the full employer match in the k. What is your marginal tax rate, both federal and state?
